The Duke of Cleveland is easily accessible from much of the north east. Nestled in the heart of the Headland area of Hartlepool, The Duke of Cleveland is well served by local transport.
From the A19, take the A179 turn off towards Hartlepool. Continue on to the A1049 West View Road, following signs for ‘Historic Headland’. Continue on to Northgate, following the road round to the left as it passes Croft Gardens & Public Toilets, on to ‘High Street’. You will see The Duke of Cleveland on the right hand side of the road, opposite St Mary’s Church. A car park is located at the rear, although limited spaces are available. An alternate car park is available opposite as part of The Borough Hall.

The Duke of Cleveland is well served by local bus service 7, operated by Stagecoach North East. Our nearest bus stop is ‘Borough Hall’ on The Headland, where this bus terminates. When disembarking, walk across the main car park for The Borough Hall and we are situated next to St Hilda’s Church.
The nearest Train Station to The Duke of Cleveland is Hartlepool - when leaving the train, head towards Middleton Grange Shopping Centre and find bus stops for Service 7 towards The Headland.
